Pressure Washing Business Starter Kit — Paperwork Done on Day One
The paperwork side of your pressure washing business, done on day one
You know how to wash. What kills the first year isn't the work — it's everything around the work: what to charge for 2,000 square feet of siding, what the agreement should say when the client's paint was already failing, how to invoice, and how to find out whether that "good" job actually paid. The Pressure Washing Business Starter Kit is all of that, already built. 14 files, $49, in your inbox two minutes from now.
No course to sit through. No "module three unlocks Friday." Templates you open, put your name on, and use on your first job.
Built by an operator, not a template shop
Route Ready's founder grew a route-based service company to 5,000 clients. Every file in this kit exists because a real service business needed it — the walkthrough form that ended damage disputes, the waiver that got written after a homeowner blamed a washer for paint that was already peeling, the job-costing sheet that revealed which service type was quietly the worst earner. This isn't paperwork someone imagined a pressure washing business might need.
What's inside — all 14 files
Spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets):
- Pricing Calculator — enter surface area, service type, and condition; get a flat-rate quote built from real production rates, with setup time and drive time counted and a minimum-job floor so you physically can't quote a money-losing job.
- Job & Client Tracker — every completed job with an automatic next-service-due date, because a house washed this year needs it again in 12–24 months and the follow-up list is the cheapest lead source you will ever have.
- Income & Expense Tracker — a monthly P&L view with this trade's categories built in: chemicals, fuel, equipment repair, insurance.
- Job Costing Sheet — chemical cost, labor, fuel, and equipment reserve per job, so you see your true hourly earnings instead of your quoted ones.
Documents (editable Word / Google Docs):
- Residential Pressure Washing Service Agreement — the terms that protect you in writing before you pull a trigger.
- Commercial Contract & Bid — for property managers and storefronts, where a handshake stops being enough.
- Client Intake Form — every detail you need before you arrive, asked once instead of texted forever.
- Quote / Estimate Template — a professional quote that goes out the same day the call comes in.
- Invoice Template — clean, clear, and easier to pay than to ignore.
- Client Welcome Packet — policies, how to reach you, and the review ask, delivered up front.
- Policies & Letters — weather and rescheduling policy, cancellation and no-show policy, price-increase letter, and review-request and complaint scripts.
- Liability Waiver & Property Condition Acknowledgment — the most important paperwork in this trade. The pre-job walkthrough that documents chalking, failed paint, cracked concrete, and rotted wood before you clean, plus the waiver and a client-directed-service addendum for the jobs you'd rather advise against.
Checklists:
- Job Checklists — crew-ready lists for house wash (soft wash), concrete and flatwork, roof soft wash, decks and fences, and gutter face brightening, plus the pre-job and final walkthroughs.
- Startup Checklist — licensing, insurance (including the exclusions that actually matter in this trade), equipment with realistic 2026 budgets, and the wastewater and runoff rules most new washers discover the expensive way.
Who it's for — and who it's not for
For you if: you're starting a pressure washing or exterior cleaning business — or you started one and you're running it on memory, texts, and a notebook. Solo operators and small crews. If your paperwork is currently "I'll figure it out when it comes up," this is the shortcut.
Not for you if: you're buying into a franchise (they hand you their systems), you need jurisdiction-specific legal documents drafted for your state (that's an attorney, and worth it), or you want a marketing course. This is paperwork and pricing infrastructure — it won't get you clients, it makes you ready for the ones you get.

FAQ
Can I edit the templates? Yes — every file is fully editable. Replace the placeholders with your business name, adjust the terms and the rates, and use them as your own. That's the whole point.
Are these legal documents? No. They're business templates written from operating experience, and they're a far better starting point than a blank page. Contract law varies by state, so have a local attorney review anything you'll rely on — particularly the waiver.
Will the pricing calculator work in my market? The defaults are sane 2026 US suburban starting points, and every rate is a yellow cell you can change: target hourly rate, production rates by service type, condition factors, and your minimum job floor. Time yourself on your first ten jobs and put your real numbers in — that's what makes it yours.
Do I need special software? No. Word and Excel work, and so do the free Google and Apple equivalents.
Is this the same as the cleaning kit? No. Same operating philosophy, entirely different trade. The pricing model is built on surface area and production rates, the checklists are soft-wash and flatwork procedures, and the waiver addresses the damage claims specific to putting water on somebody's building.
